You are probably expecting me to start with my educational and professional background. It’s how these bios usually work. I’d like to start by telling you why I decided to organize this retreat.
I went to Bali in April 2016 for a month and returned to Toronto with a new perspective. I once heard someone say that spending one month in Bali is equivalent to 5 years of being on your spiritual journey.
There is something special about Bali. It forces you to slow down, look around, be one with nature and face yourself. It is the kind of place that naturally attracts those who are looking to get more out of life, by stepping away from their busy lives and going deep within themselves. When you are surrounded by that energy and the people who are on the same path, the effects are amplified.
I returned with more clarity and a better understanding of what brings me joy, and I want to enable others to experience the same.
This will be no ordinary retreat. My wish is for everyone to be inspired by the Balinese culture, because it teaches us to nurture harmony with spirit, nature and with one another. This will be the type of guided vacation that will impact you on physical, emotional and spiritual levels, allowing an organic healing process to naturally unfold. I have selected the highlights of my month-long trip and put them together in an 8 day retreat, ensuring you get the best of everything.
I recently completed my NLP practitioner certification, with the hope of further exploring wellness, mindfulness, and different techniques that will allow me to be more resilient and happy. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our destination, activities, accommodation and logistics related to our retreat. I can’t wait to show you Bali.
Where do I begin? Let’s start with my gift to you 🙂
Do you hear that voice? That one. The one that’s making you read this, your inner narrator, your mind’s voice. Most people use it to read and think, but some people use it to keep in contact with themselves. Their true self.
Each person's unconscious mind processes information differently. It’s difficult to understand one’s self, if we don’t have access and awareness around the area that drives us as a whole. This is the UNconscious, the area of our brain that we are UNaware of. This is the same part of the brain that is responsible for making our body initiate TRILLIONS of actions, simultaneously.
Within varying percentages, people’s unconscious minds have processing preferences, which are some combination of visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic stimulation. This basically means that people learn differently and process information differently. Until we understand the internal language people speak with themselves, we won’t be communicating to our fullest potential.
Every path is a path to enlightenment when we have understood the superhuman power of perceptual reframing, which is essentially choosing our reaction to life itself. The scientific method - hypothesis/experimentation/ analysis, and uncompromising honesty with self, are simple tools that when applied to their ZENITH, can have a transformative effect!
My name is Spyros Chalkiotis and I’ve had some very interesting life experiences. Those experiences taught me where to look for happiness and I want to share my perspective with each and every one of you!
